 Do I need my provisonal licence before driving? 

  Yes. You must be in possession of your provisional licence prior to starting lessons. You can apply early for your licence to run from the date of your 17th birthday. Application forms are available from the Post Office. 

Are discounts available for block booking?

Yes. Discounts are available for block booking either 5 or 10 lessons. The times / days of block lessons are not fixed and can be taken at your convenience. The school does not charge a premium rate for evening and weekend lessons.   

What areas does the school cover?

We cover most of the BR postcode areas and some of the SE postcode areas. Please contact us to find out if your area is covered.

What are the normal teaching hours?

     Hours of teaching are usually from 8.00 - 19.00 Monday to Saturday. They are flexible to allow for instructor and pupil availability.  

How long does the practical test last? 

The practical test lasts for approximately 35 minutes and consists of a drive around six miles long. This covers various types of roads and driving situations.  You will be required to perform two of the three compulsory manoeuvres and possibly the controlled (emergency) stop. You are given your result at the end of the test by your examiner. 

Am I suitable for an intensive course?

You will need very good powers of concentration and the ability to stay focused over quite lengthy periods of driving. There is a huge amount to learn to be successful at the test and some people find these intensive courses very tiring.
